ABOUT ME
i grew up in a kibbutz in the desert, pretty far away from everything, in israeli scale ;) i love the desert, it's the most exiting landscape for me..
i love meeting new people and i love learning new things and discovering new foods, i feel like traveling is the best way to combine those together.
i started university this fall, in tel aviv. so after a few years of working, traveling and pretty much doing whatever i feel like doing whenever i feel like doing it, i've settled down for the next few years (unless i change my mind).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i've hosted travelres who were doing the "israel trail" beacause my kibbutz is not very far from the trail. some i knew, some came through a mutual friend and others just showed up in the gate, and i just couldn't not help them.
after the camino i was kind of couch surfing in europe, between people i've met on the way. during my travels i've surfed a few couches and in my previous apartment i've hosted a few travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books
my playlist changes frequently, music affects mood, energy, some songs can offer a new perspective on things.. so differnt music accompanies diffenret times. a few of my favorites- ben harper, india arie, the beatles, arik ainstein, meir ariel, lauryn hill, gidi gov, westlife, chava alberstein
i love books that are written in first person narrator, i'm not quite sure why, maybe it's because i feel closer to the characters like they're telling the story to me in person. i think books are generally better in their original language, many things do get lost in translation :) so i read mostly israeli authors, my favorite is Meir Shalev.
i don't go to the cinema very often.. if i don't find a movie to be intersting, i lose focus and can't concentrate. with that being said, i can enjoy different genres of movies, from action to romantic comedy, heart-breaking drama to experimental.. except horror, too scary for me.. the last movie i saw in theater i think was "les source des femmes".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i walked the camino de santiago, it was an amazing experience.. learned so much about myself just through walking everyday for a month and meeting extraordinary people on the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
i would love to learn new languages and improve the few a can already speak.. would love help working on my guitar/ukulele playing.
i love doing all sorts of crafts, and i'm always happy to learn new ones. i wan't someone who can teach me yoga.
i love cooking, especially working with chocolate, there is no limit to how creative you can be with it. i could help with the basics and i definitely want to learn more..
