ABOUT ME
I'm a simple guy who likes simple things - good food and an interesting conversation are things I enjoy very much.
Since 2013 I've been living in Germany after I took the decision to leave Israel with its "complications" behind and simply live a happy and relaxed life in the countryside.
I've also decided to lead a more responsible life, never again work in a full time job and think about the things I do and say.
Working part time allows me to enjoy life and pursue new interests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always believed that people are the key for understanding a culture.
Travelling through a country and experiencing its touristic places is something I have done before. I find that it is not enough for me.
Couchsurfing provides an excellent platform to really get to know a country and its people.
Interests
Baking and cooking are big interests of mine.
Since we bought our small house in 2016 I'm slowly learning the skills I need for renovating it, developing our garden and raising household animals.
- farm animals
- cooking
- baking
- crafts
- board games
- reading
- woodworking
- permaculture
- upcycling
- computer games
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of fantasy books. It has always been my passion and although I would occasionally read "a roman", I'm always happy to dive back into the fantasy world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to worship the Great Ape, it was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been baking bread for us on a daily basis for the last 4 years or so; I can teach you the basics for baking good simple bread. There is nothing better than fresh homemade bread...
Traditional skills are a small fascination of mine. Unfortunately I have never learned a profession and am always happy to see people doing their things.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Peru, Poland, Romania
Countries I’ve Lived In
