About Me

Hey there! I’m Saber, a veterinarian with a big love for animals, but also for life in general. I’m the kind of person who tries to keep things positive and enjoy the little moments. I think traveling is the best way to not only see the world but also learn from it. Every person you meet has something to teach you, and that’s why I love connecting with new people, hearing their stories, and sharing a bit of mine, too.

When I’m not working with animals, I love to spend my time outdoors—whether it’s hiking in nature, exploring new places, or just going for a long walk. I’m also a big fan of local food, and I think trying new dishes is one of the best ways to understand a culture. Plus, who doesn’t love a good meal, right?

I’m pretty laid-back, open-minded, and always down for a good conversation. Whether we’re talking about life, travel experiences, or just sharing stories about the day, I’m all about creating meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.

Looking forward to connecting! You can find me on Instagram at

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing to me is more than just a way to find a place to sleep—it’s about meeting amazing people and experiencing life as a local. I think staying with someone who knows the city or town makes the trip way more fun and real. I’m not interested in the touristy stuff as much as I am in understanding how people live and what their daily lives look like.

I also really enjoy the idea of giving back by helping others when they’re traveling through my city. Whether it’s showing someone around or just sharing a meal together, I believe it’s all about the connections we make with each other that last long after the trip ends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I’m into a bit of everything—depends on my mood!

Movies: I enjoy films that make you think, like Inception or Interstellar, but I also love a good comedy like Friends. Adventure movies like the Game Of Thrones The Lord of the Rings or Pirates of the Caribbean are also favorites. Anything with a great storyline or cool visuals grabs my attention!

Books: I read a mix of fiction and non-fiction. I’m really into books that dive deep into life’s big questions, but I also enjoy a good novel that takes me on an adventure. Open to recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done is performing a lot of surgeries, including castrations and ovariohysterectomies, on animals in need. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I’m making a difference in their lives and helping to control the pet population. Each surgery not only improves the health and well-being of the animals but also provides peace of mind for their future families. Being able to contribute positively to both the animals and their owners is something I’m truly passionate about!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, Learn, Share:

Teach: I can teach you a bit about animals and veterinary science if you’re interested! I also enjoy sharing my language skills and cultural insights from where I’m from.

Learn: I’m always open to learning anything new—whether it’s a language, cooking a local dish, or something about your culture that I haven’t experienced yet.

Share: I’m happy to share travel stories, good conversations, and a lot of positive vibes. I believe that every experience is better when shared with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences from working as a vet, some fun stories, and a lot of positive energy. I’m a good listener and always happy to help out around the house if needed—whether it’s with small tasks or just keeping things light with good conversation. I’m always up for sharing good vibes and making the stay enjoyable for both of us!
