About Me

Hi there! My girlfriend and I are started our world trip in August and we're excited to connect with people from all walks of life. We love immersing ourselves in new cultures, trying new foods, and exploring all the hidden gems that each destination has to offer.

As a gamer and music lover, I'm always up for a challenge in a new game or discovering new music. When we're not out exploring, you'll likely find me gaming or listening to music of all genres, from classic rock to hip-hop to electronic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're both social creatures and enjoy meeting new people, so we're looking forward to making connections through Couchsurfing. Whether it's grabbing a drink, sharing a meal, or exploring the local sights together, we're excited to make lasting memories with fellow travelers and locals alike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experiences I've had was when I visited Abu Dhabi and met an incredible local from India who showed me around the city. From the moment we met, he welcomed me with open arms and a warm smile, and I felt at ease in his company.

He took me to all the must-see sights, like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Emirates Palace, but also showed me the hidden gems that only locals know about. We wandered through the bustling souks, trying new foods and bargaining for souvenirs.

Throughout the day, he shared stories about his life in Abu Dhabi and his passion for his culture and traditions. It was fascinating to learn about the history and customs of the city from someone who was so knowledgeable and passionate about his home and his Indian heritage.

By the end of the weak, I felt like I had gained not just a tour guide, but a friend. I was touched by his generosity and kindness, and his willingness to share his world with me. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will always treasure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm excited to share my stories, good times, and hobbies with my hosts! I enjoy working with my hands, especially in woodwork, metalwork, and electronics. If my hosts have a workshop or tools available, I'd be happy to share my skills and work on some projects together.

I also love playing board games, so I'm always up for a fun game night with my hosts and any other travelers they may know. It's a great way to unwind, get to know each other, and have some laughs.

Additionally, I enjoy going out for a drink or trying out new restaurants, especially if they serve local cuisine. It's a great way to experience the local culture and get a taste of the city's food scene.

Overall, I'm looking forward to connecting with my hosts. Whether we're building something in the workshop, playing board games, or exploring the city, I'm confident that we'll have a great time together.
