About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live fully, share amazing experiences, make friends, go on adventures, and never stop learning
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly, creative, and just the right amount of nerdy. I like to learn constantly, and surround myself with positive, open people. I knit cool beanies, pet all cats, make things, and read a lot. I'm into craft beer, delicious food, and fine cocktails. I love places, people, and things with character, history, and grit, and anything with a good patina.
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is yours. It's there in every moment- every flower, every blade of grass, every brief connection. Never stop tuning in to the bliss of the world around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Why not be the person who lives with a full moon in each eye
that is always saying
with that sweet moon language
what every other person in this world is dying to hear?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing off and on since 2013, via friends and this community. The kindness of strangers reinforces the goodness of the humanity, and couchsurfing expresses that as simply and accurately as I've encountered.
Interests
I love adventuring, making music, climbing trees, finding new friends and knitting all sorts of things. I'm always down for a round of disc golf. I like unique experiences and feeling alive.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classic rock, and the indier side of modern music. Auto go to's- Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Beck, Cake, the Strokes, Air, Wilco. I'll read anything I can get lost in. I don't watch much, but I will if it's good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was backpacking Madrid during the 2008 EuroCup between Spain and Germany, and when Spain won we joined in as everyone stormed the city, dancing in fountains and creating a night of total anarchy.
I quit my job, bought, renovated, and moved into a van, and toured the country as a folk musician non-stop for four years straight with no home-base.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an avid knitter and can teach anyone what they'd like to learn. I can also show you a few sweet classics on the ukulele.
I'd love to learn more about farming, alternative healing, and how we can use what the Earth provides to better our minds and bodies. I'm curious about metaphysics and science as it relates to our understanding of the universe and the laws of reality.
