ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person who loves to travel & meet new people!

I am originally from Romania but moved to Vancouver, Canada when I was young and grew up there. During my undergraduate I went to Barcelona on exchange and stayed there for 3 years, was living in Medellin Colombia for 1 year , Berlin for another 1.5y and then Munich for 1y.

I am going to take this next year to really do more travelling, just moving around without a base because I've been itching for a bigger trip!

My favorite places are: Sitges, Parque Tayrona, Medellin, Curacao... anywhere with a beach really :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experience was in DF Mexico during Christmas 2014 and it was a great experience! I got to spend Christmas with a local family and had a great time. From there I continued my backpacking through Mexico and stayed at a few more amazing couchsurfers places!

I have also participated in couch surfing activities in different cities & have hosted a few couchsurfers here in Berlin!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Santa Marta Colombia was an amazing experience. I was teaching young children in underprivileged neighborhoods and educating young women on sexual education. During that time I organized a project to paint the football field with world flags in celebration of the world cup. We involved the kids, giving them an activity to do, and also educated the people of the community on world flags.

To share my travel knowledge & culture...some english classes if requested (I taught English in Spain & Colombia) & a fun companion!
