I am adventurous and super curious Czech girl and it’s been already some years since I live in the northern beauty called Hamburg. Well, there is raining a lot, but if you wait till summer, it´s amazing ;) Travelling and discovering of new cultures, habits and languages is my biggest passion and it makes me so happy! I love to meet open minded and interesting travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels are so boring. It´s so much cooler to explore a place with CouchSurfers, as you can find out aspects of the places you otherwise would never have seen. I love the idea to share while travelling and I am ready for next adventures! :)

Interests

I love winter adventures as skiing, ice skating, sledging and building a snowman; I like swimming further in the sea, running as Forrest Gump, Yoga (I especially do it for the Šavásana:), biking, I love music. I´ve played the viola since I was child and used to play with the university and movie orchestra. I am passionate cook and eater and adore discovering of healthy vegetarian recipes and cuisines. Encanto vino tinto, sangría, tapas, español y siesta. ¡La vida es solo una! ¡Ole ole ole!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding motorbike between beautiful rice fields and mountains in Northern Vietnam and living with local families in villages. Living and volunteering in a jungle in Northern Thailand and being an elephant mahout. Snorkelling in the clearest water in Ademan Sea in Phuket and making fish friends. Teaching English to children and sleeping under mango tree in Cambodian countryside. My Scandinavian winter adventures in -20, having a lot of fun in the snow, seeing the northern lights and reindeers. Walking el Camino de Santiago as a pilgrim. Sleeping in the desert under the stars in Jordan, walking with camels and eating with Bedouins.

And plenty others. Life is beautiful!

I can teach you some very important Czech words (how to order a beer), I like to cook together, share hunger, thirst (in form of good coffee, wine or I can offer you our homemade Slivovice), languages, good mood, smiles and funny moments.
