About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Gain experiences. Meet people. Be as happy as one can be.
ABOUT ME
I'm really easy going, open and talkative person (sometimes too talkative - I'm starting babbling and someone needs to shut me down, but thankfully it's not that often). I consider myself a really lucky one, maybe that's why I can find happiness in small and big things - good cup of coffee, nice new song, walk in the rain, salsa practice, starry night - or maybe it's the other way round, and I'm lucky because of it. I wish everyone can do the same.
Even though I'm open for meeting new people, I tend to stay inside my comfort zone of old friendships, and that's why I came here, challenging myself to meet total strangers, because I know how worthy it could be.
I get overly excited over fireworks, rollercoasters and live concerts.I'm addicted to warmth (seriously, don't try to take my quilt when I sleep, it could end really bad for you).Did I mention coffee? Another addiction- I blame my work on it. There's nothing better than cup of fresh, full of aroma, black coffee. And if you want to know more random things about me - you can learn by yourself. Or just ask.
PHILOSOPHY
My friends always laugh that I was born in the wrong time-seventies will be more accurate, as I am a bit "hippie" in the way I go through life. Be good, do good and it will come back to you, one way or another, sooner or later. I don't see the point in looking for negatives, Monthy Python's song "always look on the bright side" can be my anthem ;)
I believe that we, as a people, are all equal and the things that describe us are our actions and who we are to others, not our nationality, look, religion etc.
And to not sound too serious- I think we just should be like kids- joyful, open and always curious about the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this moment I can't offer a couch, but I'll be more than happy to show you my beautiful city, take you for a good cup of coffee or just hang out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I only couchsurfed once, but it was great experience and I'd like to meet people and travel like this more often.
Interests
I don't have to say that I love traveling and learning about new cultures and places, it's obvious for someone who's a part of this community ;) I'm interested in a bit in everything- I always like to know more, doesn't matter is it art, yoga or quantum physics (yep, last time I spend whole day learning about string theory because someone mentioned it over a beer). But there are few that interest me at most:
Coffee- since I started my work I got pretty obsessed with it, trying new beans from different places, brewed by different methods, learning about them, there's a lot of things about coffee you could discover!
Art- there's no way I would miss an opportunity to go to the gallery, any kind, even though I'm not such a big fan of modern art. The way people express through their art is amazing (and their skills, wow!)
Cooking - actually you could lock me in the kitchen for my whole life and I'd more than happy. I love trying new things and making up new recipes, which then no one else can repeat, because I don't cook with exact measurements, just adding things "by eye" and tasting until I'm satisfied. But everyone agrees that it's always tasty ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Chicago, Sin City, Star Wars, Wes Anderson movies, basically I like movies that are somehow different from the others. But really I'm more series than movie person, there's always at least 4 or 5 I'm currently watching (and another 10 on my to-watch list). My favourites are Sherlock, Hannibal, Orphan Black, Daredevil, Black Mirror and Doctor Who. If it comes to music, it depends on the mood, but mostly it's indie. I read mostly Polish fantasy novels, but any recommendations are welcome as I love to read. (Currently reading a lot of Henry Kuttner's books, they're so great!)
