About Me

CURRENT MISSION

World peace (and writing about my efforts to get there)

ABOUT ME

There isn't much of me cause I'm not that big... but the part that is living on this world, is fond of travelling, meeting new people and writing about it.
And I know some pretty good jokes (from which some of them I constantly forget the end)

PHILOSOPHY

Time is fun when you're having flies

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My house is so small I don't even have space left for a couch...But I'm very much willing to show people the beautiful and less touristical parts of Amsterdam.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't couch-surfed before but I'm looking forward to have my first experience.

Interests

Travelling with a backpack (which looks like a walking backpack with two tiny legs under it), writing about special events and every day life, photography, exploring and surfing are my main goals in life (apart from the world peace of course ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Elvis, Stevie Wonder and Ben l'Oncle
Movies: The Godfather, Pulp Fiction and Amelie
Books: Isabel Allende, Laura Esquivel and Roald Dahl

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That would be my hiking-trip at national park Corcovado in Costa Rica.
23 km through jungle, beaches and wild nature.
While everyone around me was well prepared with special boots, enough water & food and, most importantly: well trained, I didn't have any of that but still made it and was flabbergasted by the beautiful things I saw.

Teach, Learn, Share

Seeing life through the eye of a journalist makes you aware of funny details, special people and often even more special stories.
Using a camera with it gives you the ability to store these experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
