About Me

A hotelier turned IT geek turned into designing homes for architectural firms. I hate to stay in one place and can't wait for the next adventure to begin.
A music and sports freak, a news junkie, massive petrolhead, humorist, and foodie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here on CS to meet people from all across the globe. Growing up in a place like Dubai I was always between people of every nationality. So it's easy to say that meeting different people from different walks of life is one of the most beautiful and amazing thing.
My dad back in the 80s went all across Europe and the south east Asia backpacking and used to stay at temples and basically anywhere for a free nights stay.
I understand what a nights stay means for people travelling on a budget as I have been in that situation many a times. And also it's give me a chance to meet with the local folks.

Interests

Love playing sports. Cricket and football are my games, Playing (still learning) the guitar, and obviously traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic rock is the way to go. There is just something about the those Page & Gilmour solos that send you into another world altogether. And the music of AR Rahman, that guy is just a genius. He is easily the best musician in India.

Well when it comes to movies there are just so many to pen down here. Love movies which make you think and give you goosebumps.

I do read books but not many. Crime, thrillers and historic fictions intrigue me the most. The millennium series, The shiva trilogy, The empire of Moghul series are a few of the few that read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove from Bangalore to Pondicherry, chennai, Hyderabad, Hampi and back to Bangalore in over a period of 15 days. Was honestly one of the best experiences my life till now.
Soon I shall better this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the few kitchen tips and recipes of Indian cooking that I know. Food is a massive massive part of the Indian culture with every state having its own different cuisine.

I'm currently learning the guitar and would love to learn the songs of every culture and language one day.

I can definitely share tips on how to travel in India. It's not rocket science but a little bit of knowledge would help in coming to grips and tackling of the everyday amazing craziness of this beautiful country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a bed for you, sheets, pillows, a blanket if you want even though it's not really required. Clean towels, kitchen is all yours provided you don't make a mess of it.
