ABOUT ME

I am currently studying linguistics and geography in University Laval. I'm not sure yet where that will take me... time will tell! I might want to teach French as a second language in foreign countries.

In the spring, I work as a tour guide in Quebec, Ottawa, Toronto, New York, Boston and some other places. Each time I guide a tour, I re-discover places through other people's eyes, which is fabulous.

I am fond of sports and outdoor activities, especially hiking and snowboarding. Whenever I have free time, I head for the mountains. Even though I like visiting cities, I could never live in one. I prefer the tranquility of small places. I'm curious about pretty much everything and I like trying new things!

I'm rather quiet, and not really the partying type.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe Mark Twain said it best : "Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an amazing concept. Being very independent, I often travel on my own, but each time I get home, I realize that the most memorable moments were those spent with other people. Whenever I look back on my travels, the experiences and laughs shared with people I met along the way always come first to my mind.
