About Me

lost, but with an excellent sense of direction.

Say what you will about my country and punctuality for the first day a surfer is meeting me. I would greatly appreciate if you are able to give me the time you would be arriving at my place and be reasonably sober.

I do know that travelling here does entail a lot of delays; but, You can not expect me to wait 3 to 6 hours for you to show up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

to meet interesting people

I just finished hosting two surfers Patryk Kalinowski & popi ·_·. , I seem to have gotten the oddest bunch. One is Polish with a Singaporean english accent and a spanish guy with a german accent. I offered to host Patryk first; but, his plans were fluid and couldn't give a definite date of arrival. I then offered popi ·_· . A few days later Patryk asked whether my couch was still available. I spoke with popi and he was ok with having a second surfer. Both were very understanding of the situation. I think the two got along fine, due to having similar circumstances.

Interests

aside from performance art (singing, dancing, acting...), i have had a passing relationship with each and everyone of them.. and maybe some performance art i really would like to forget.. cough, cough ... theatre... musical theatre.

as much as i have travelled other countries, i have toured institutions of higher learning in my country and shifted courses as often and taken electives that have nothing to do with the degree i was taking.

Music, Movies, and Books

music, i like them all.

i used to like tolkien.

i read the hobbit when i was 10 and lord of the rings a few months after. i've reread them many times till news of the movie came out. i saw all the movies [except for the last one].

i tried to read the books again and my brain seems to be rebelling. the movies seems to have superimposed themselves onto my imagination. now all i see is peter jackson's movies. Someday, i will forget peter jackson.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bed, not mine though or at least the one, i'm currently sleeping on. And a perspective of the Philippines [a very limited luzon centic perspective] that isn't on the guide book. and maybe the bathroom...
