About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be happy

ABOUT ME

[Curious, Dreamer, Determined, Open mind, High-flyer]

I'm an active person, I love travelling, meeting people, dancing, walking, doing/learning/trying extreme sports

I love being surrounded by people, to listen or observe, I love both deep talks and sharing opinions or chat about nothing and just chill out.

I am a party animal and a bookworm all in one person..

PHILOSOPHY

Live the life you love. Love the life you live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet new friends and enjoy some time together, exploring the surroundings, travelling together or going to party

I always use it when travelling or going to live in a different place, it's a good way to find people with similar interests that could turn into friends. Thanks to it I found some really good and lasting friendships that made my time in a foreigner city and beyond..

It is also amazing in order to have a more authentic travel experience, locals teached me the country lifestyle and showed me the best places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oct 2014 - Sydney, Australia: my first time outside Europe, my first CS host experience, a kind American guy transplanted in Oz

Dec 2014 - Byron Bay, Australia: my second host, a old-style authentic hippie, then we went to work in a music festival ^^

Sept 2016 - Lyon, France: it was an hard moment for me but with "hangout" I met these two guys that really made my day

Oct 2016 - Strasbourg, France: I moved there alone and publish a public message on CS hoping to find some friendly face.. I met a girl that's so similar to me, we are still friends and meeting when possible

Feb to May 2017 - Costa Rica/Panama/Nicaragua: I have been hosted by a Costa Rican family, an Argentinian group of friends, a Nicaraguan guy, travelled with many amazing people from Mexico, France, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal and Polynesia and met so many people from everywhere...

Oct 2017 to January 2018: moved again, to Belgium now, mostly using hangout and going to the weekly meetings, good souvenirs, some party, some trip in the surroundings

Feb 2019 - Set down in Paris, going to CS meetings, organising hiking trips, some weekend around.

Interests

Almost everything can be interesting (I'm pretty curious), people that surround me affects a lot my mood

I need to move, discover and experiment.

I love doing all kind of sports, but especially dance, long walks, kayak, surf, climbing.. Almost every activity in contact with nature, mountains and water.

On the other side I appreciate also big cities and their vibrant atmosphere. I enjoy parties, cultural events, festivals.. I like trying local food, hanging out with locals.. I'll never say "no" to a beer/glass of red wine together

Music, Movies, and Books

It depends on the mood of the moment, I enjoy a wide range of typologies

About the music: pop; deep house; folk; indie; jazz; reggaeton...

About books: Marion Zimmer Bradley; Isabel Allende; Konrad Lorenz; Brunella Gasperini; J. k. Rowling; C. S. Lewis; David Grossman ... I like thrillers/fantasy/historically based stories..

Movies.. Well I'm not so passionate about, I enjoy them just if I'm tired or it's raining strong outside and I'm forced at home... And I often forget them (and watch again 😅)
I make some exception for some series, such as GOT :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Travelling on the road in a small, super accessorized van, through the Australian desert and the Great Ocean Road: pure freedom, nature, amazing ...

2. Sliding down the youngest active volcano of Nicaragua, on a small wooden board

Teach, Learn, Share

tell me about you and your country, I want to know more, for sure!

I'm a good listener but I also love talking. I'm curious about every topic I don't know about.. Historic facts; cultural differences; sciences.. I'm also interested in people, their stories, their personalities..

I can teach the languages that I speak, some dance steps, how to cook a real Italian pasta 😋

What I Can Share with Hosts

A long walk ... talks... Cooking together ... Go dancing ...
