I'm from Brazil, living in Northern Virginia as an Au Pair (international nanny) until 2019 :)
I looove meeting new people and new cultures. I'm a very curious person that reads a lot about anything that I want to know, some of my friends call me a little encyclopedia because I know a lot of curiosities about a lot of (stupid) things.
I rather spend my money on experiences than at the mall, I really love doing and tasting different things and most of my clothes are under $10 because I just purchase on sale or thrift stores.

It's my third time in the U.S., unfortunately, I never visited any other country, but I'm definitely traveling more after my exchange program is over.

The first time I came to U.S. I was 20 years old, and went to Disney World, in Orlando, to work as a custodial for three months (and visited NYC for 5 days)! It was an amazing experience, I met people from all over the world, and could learn a lot about their cultures. I worked at Magic Kingdom, and the tunnels are real!!! I used to walk a lot in there.

The second time I came for a vacation with 6 friends of mine, and It was the best vacation of my life so far. We did a road trip to LA, SF, Yosemite, Las Vegas, and Grand Canyon. I really loved California and wanna go back there someday, especially to San Francisco, it's expensive but I loved that city a lot!

And nowww I'm living in Virginia, close to D.C., working, studying, and traveling sometimes. Since I'm living here, I've been in New York, North Carolina, Ocean City (NJ) and Seattle.
The top 1 place that I wanna visit while living here is Yellowstone National Park, that I'm planning to do during the summer. Other places that I wanna go: Boston, Chicago, Colorado, Cleveland and Memphis (I love rock n roll and my fav singer of all times is Johnny Cash).

I love sad songs, I think they're the best, and agree with Elton John: "sad songs say so much".
My favorite band is Pearl Jam.
My favorite singer is Johnny Cash, his lyrics are the best.
I go to the movies like 5 to 10 times a month, some of my favorites movies are Titanic (of course), 10 things I hate about you, Pride and Prejudice, Milk, American Hustle, Christopher Nolan's Batman, The Big Short and Coach Carter.

I'm very friendly and easy going person. I wanted it to be an amazing experience for me and for the host, so I'll try to share as much as I can about what I know and where I'm from.
I'm used to live in other people's houses, so I'll be very polite and respectful with you and with your house.
