About Me

Hello!

I’m Sabrina and I'm from Hertfordshire (just North of London) in the UK.

I graduated from the University of Exeter with a Degree in Politics and since then have moved to South London where I have been working at a Multiple Sclerosis Charity for the past couple of years.

I'm a bit of a foodie and love eating out (let me know if you need any London recommendations!) and cooking for friends and family at home. I enjoy socialising with friends - going out to bars, clubs, talks, cafes, festivals, museums and the cinema. I'm a big believer in trying everything once and new experiences. Love playing Racket sports (especially Tennis) when I have the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting and socialising with new people and experiencing a place through the eyes of locals. I stayed with a couple of hosts through Couchsurfing when I traveled through South America for 10 months in 2018. Also love going along to the meetups. Hoping to host some people when I eventually move back to London.

I'm looking to meet a variety of local people, to learn more about their life, interests, culture, and also their recommendations of where to visit. Coming from a British-Italian background food is a very big part of culture for me and I really enjoy trying interesting new food and cooking with and for friends. I can't claim my Spanish is currently great, but I'm really looking forward to practicing and improving it.

I'm so grateful to the generous people of couchsurfing for being such generous and hospitable hosts and giving so much to the community of travelers they provide such great accommodation to.

Couchsurfing is not a dating app for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love going to festivals and listening to all the different music on offer. Festivals in the UK I've been to include Glastonbury (the biggest and the best), Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Reading and Lost Village.

I'm a big fan of films and frequently go to the cinema to watch a mixture of independent and blockbuster films.

My 2018 New Year's resolution is to read more! I enjoy crime, sic-fi and fantasy and satire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was bloackaded in a city and escaped.
