About Me

Always ready for adventure, up for a challenge!
I enjoy the company of people... friends, family and complete strangers! I also enjoy being alone, having time to think, plan, write and reflect.
I enjoy organizing events, participation in workshops, being part of community groups and movements.
Also traveling and exploring especially places close to water.
For the past few years I have been moving around a lot between South America, mainly Bolivia and London also previously lived in Italy, Switzerland(short term) and Ireland.
I love to learn and adapt from and in new environments, I respect humble ways of living and I enjoy seeing, sharing , understanding , learning and experiencing the lives of those who I share this planet with..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just recently joined so i only have 2 refrences so far.
I am on couch surfing mostly because I am interested in meeting people from the areas I pass through, seeing their homes(never being judgemental as i believe our needs are very basic), enjoying their company, sharing stories and experiencing little or lots with them.
I like to think that travel broadens our minds and I feel privileged to have the freedom to do so, but without meeting local people of the lands I pass, I feel the journey would be much less satisfying, educational and fulfilling, so I always aim to keep it real and try blend in(sometimes hard to do with a backpack though). Local knowledge is priceless when it comes to travel so couchsurfing is perfect for this level of connecting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ahhh. Difficult question!
OK il try, here are some recent movies I enjoyed. .. Taxi driver, my neighbor Totoro, Ex machina, Das experiment, The weather underground, La vita e bella, Food Inc.
Also I really love 'The lord of the rings' for its amazing costumes and weapons!
In reality I mostly choose to watch documentary films as I like to learn and understand about other people lives..
Most recently I watched 'Pastaza' a documentary about oil spills in Peruvian Amazon region and another documentary about Israels ocupación in Palestina.
But i also enjoy martial art, action, thrillers, japonés manga, fantasy, dance and non-fiction..

Music : Pretty much everything from rock to classical and everything inbetween, regge, ska, punk, afro beats, experimental, folk and traditional...but not so much comercial!
Good live music is always a treat!
*At the minute obviously Latín american music is blowing my mind* although my dancing skills could do with some improving !

Books..... il come back to this later!
