I'm a German girl born and raised at the Lake Constance. I just started studying biology at the university this year and I love to travel. It doesn't really matter where, the most important thing for me is to just see the world and get to know different cultures.

One of the reasons is - of course - to find a place to spend the night. But that's by far not everything. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people from all over the world and it's amazing to have someone who can guide you around. That's awesome because you don't only see popular sights but you can experience the place in another, more personal way, and that's what traveling is about, isn't it?

I once went swimming in a lake in Sweden at 11pm, the water was like 8°C, but it was pretty cool (literally).
