Overview
About Me
I am veterinarian, I just finished my dissertation and started my first job in a pharma business close to Basel.
Meeting new people is just great, just like have inspiring talks and sitting in the sun.
Icecream and lye rolls are just to die for, especially if combined with wonderful people and laughs.
I love to travel - preferably to cities that I haven't been to.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I loooove to meet new people, laugh, share good food and beautiful stories with them.
I've been talking to an acquaintance and she was thrilled about couchsurfing. So far I've visited lot's of places and stayed at Airbnb rentals. Now I'd like to try couchsurfing myself.
Interests
I am a huge fan of food - all kinds and sizes and it is especially good when I can share it with good people.
I get incredible excited about farmers markets.
I obviousely like animals a lot! They just make me very happy and I just have to touch them all the time :).
I love audiobooks, English, doing DIY stuff and sitting in the sun.
And of course EXERCISE! I feeling fit is wonderful!

Music, Movies, and Books
Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine, Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran but generally just music that makes me feel happy!
Audiobooks! I just have too many to tell them all.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to the USA and lived in an old cat barn with 13 people. We had no Wifi, I had no car, no phone service and there was no TV cable. We had 1 bathroom for all of us and no rooms but one common room.
I went out to pick blackberries every day and I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT! I made ice cream and jam out of it and just had the best nature experience in my life!
I trained with monkeys :).
I traveled to Thailand, Viet Nam and Cambodia for 7 weeks and experienced weightless joy, mind blowing beaches, open minded people and foods. I got sunburned while snorkling, took a bath with elephants, meditated in the sun and hiked in the jungle.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Right now I am living in a transitional apartment, but I will be moving into my new home in a month.
Then I can finally house some nice people again! :)
Food! Stories, good memories, laughter, fun, time, insider information.
Just ask - we can make it work.
