Hola! Me llamo Sabrina y solo quiero ver el mundo. Fui a escuela y tried to live a traditional and societally accepted way of life but it was not right for me. When I was little, Spanish was all that I spoke because half of my family is Mexican and they raised me my first four years. As time went on, I grew more independent and lost my Spanish. seeing as only one parent spoke it but they didn't continue teaching me. But even now, learning it is not so difficult because it makes sense to me!

I really love not to live by the confines of money as it can be so debilitating. Being able to stay with others in their home gives me and the other party a chance to meet and communicate with someone not of their usual life and mentality. I appreciate being able to see new places but where you sleep and live is as much part of the journey as well! It´s just fun!

Interessen

I love talking to anyone about their place in the world and how they believe it all fits together. In order for me possibly create change, I feel we must get to know each other. I love animals so so much and hope that maybe one day I can dedicate my life to helping protect their wildlife habitats and promoting a more ecologically-friendly way of life.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: I love reggae, it has always been a big part of my life but I also am into swing and a Jazzy kind of rock music like Janis Joplin. I listen to a lot of instrumentals too like Gramatik - Just Jammin, is one of my favorites. I also grew up with a lot of Spanish music and one of my favorite international singers is Manu Chao of course...but Mac DeMarco is amazing as well. I play a little guitar and just love to mess around with the sounds of music.

My family might say I love movies too much but I can't help it! I like all sorts of movies and TV shows like Friends and movies like Chocolat. I watch a lot of historical fiction based movies and who doesn't love a good true story.

I also make sure I am reading all the time so if I come to see you, rest assured, I will be reading at a park or the beach or anywhere else. I just finished 'Moby Dick' and 'Rebecca.' Great stories. The same as movies, I read a lot of historical fiction as well, true stories and even a lot of the classics too like Charles Dickens, Hemingway, Kate Chopin and Jane Eyre. my favorite for the rest of my life I'm sure will be Paolo Coelho. The best there is...besides Gertrude Stein!

I have skydived a couple of times and received my scuba license but I suppose I´m still trying to achieve amazing things.

I suppose if there is anyone over there who wants to learn English, I am very happy to help. I love writing, so I know my way around the English language exactly. I was supposed to get a degree in writing because I was told my writings could maybe take me somewhere but perhaps one day. I'd be happy to teach you a little bit about my own home but really I want to learn all about you and your way of life in this beautiful country. As I said, I am still learning Spanish but I work on it every day.
