Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people traveling . I think you don’t know a city so well, until you have someone who knows it so well and is able to show you around, or just to tell you all the secret about that place, a particular park that not everyone know, a pub, a museum, a restaurant. Not touristic places!

Interests

Traveling first of all. As soon as I have some money left in my wallet from my weekend job, all I do is booking a trip. Even to the cheapest, closest city, I try to travel at least once a month. It makes me feel alive. Then I love going out with friends, do sport, listening to music, going to the beach and spend some time with my family

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to any kind of music, it mostly depends on my mood! I love listening to American rappers ( I’m so into Eminem now) , American pop and hip hop music. I also like some Italian rap and pop. I love reading books, especially adventure romance and thriller, when I relax at the end of the day I love lying on the couch with my favorite book. Books are kind of an identity card for people, I can know you better based on the kind of books you read, if you do read them. I love watching movies, my favorite ones are the ones about adventures and travel, but also thrillers. I don’t really like love stories movies. I’m open to any new taste, I’m very flexible especially talking about music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for a year in China when I was 17, in a Chinese family and attending a Chinese school, and I also lived one year in the USA when I was 19, working as an Au pair for an American family. I travel a lot and I love taking monthly breaks, trying to travel at least once a month!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching people from other countries all about my culture, my language, my costumes. At the same time I love learning all about other countries cultures, I love sharing everything with people, good and bad experiences, I’m such an easygoing girl and I love talking and get to know new people. When I used to travel around the states this summers my favorite activity, when I did couchsurfing or Airbnb, was to cook for my hosts, sitting at the table all together, eating and sharing our life experiences, memories, feelings.
