Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the inherent goodness in people. I have gotten more outgoing and open-minded in my past years of college and traveling. I am about to enter a period of transition in my life as I graduate college and am hoping the good people of Philly can help me out before I settle in a place.

Interests

As a history buff, I love learning about and seeing the history of the cities I visit. I also love music and attending music fests or concerts (I go to Lollapalooza in my hometown of Chicago every year). I enjoy learning about and discussing politics; I try to kept up with the news locally and internationally.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music but particularly rap and indie/folk. Some of my favorite artists at the moment are Childish Gambino, Princess Nokia, Lizzo, Open Mike Eagle, Sylvan Esso, and Mura Masa. I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan. My favorite movie is School of Rock with Jack Black. I'll watch any sappy rom-com but I really love documentaries.
