About Me
CURRENT MISSION
No hosting during oktoberfest!
(Except if you’re an airliner, non Revs gotta stick together ;) )
Exploring myself by exploring the world
ABOUT ME
I am a fun and outgoing personality and I always try to achieve as much as I can. I did track and field for a very long time but had to quit due to knee problems. That's when I explored traveling as my new passion and have since then wanted to see as much of the world as possible. I have met great personalities doing so and learned much about different people and cultures. I can say I get a long with mostly everybody, even people I don't even like. I guess I also tend to be very social. I like challenges, cause every challenge tackled brings great experiences you can learn from. I meet people from all over the world every day at work and j love it ! Working shifts might not always work with your schedules though !
PHILOSOPHY
I believe things always happen for a reason. And even if every new start might be hard it will lead you to where you should be.
I've positvely lived this way as I met the greates friends on the quest and really decided for myself what I wanted to do in life, rather then just living the life everyone expects me to live. It's all about experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This is actually my second profile as I somehow and accidentally replaced my old proile when I connected Couchsurfing with Facebook. This sucks a little as all my references are simply gone. But well, I did couchsurf before, always very positively.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in Boston before. I was with a friend and we stayed with a bunch of fun guys. It happens that other couchsurfers were there as well, so we ended up having a great party.
I also couchsurfed in Iceland for a night and even though I was only there for a very short time I learned so much about the Iclandic culture by staying with a wonderful family
Interests
Sports, mainly track and field, swimming and kick boxing
TRAVELLING, obviously
cultures and languages
knitting, yes I do that and friends apparantly love it (at least those who got a hat or such lol)
family, very important
Music, Movies, and Books
I love hip hop, American Hip Hop, but at the same time I gotta be one of the greatest Coldplay fans. So occassionaly, I also listen to softer music, but basically never rock or such.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being abroad for the first time! It has inspired me to never give up and chase your dreams, anytime and anywhere!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been abroad before and can share my experiences and teach others about the cultures I got to know, and of course my own.
I think Couchsurfing is about teaching, learning and sharing. so I decided to come up with the following: Start your message with "Hello Sabreenee"(my nickname) so I can see that you actually read my profile. Ive been getting so many (super short) messages where people dont even bother to write about them. If you're simply looking for a place to stay for free, Im not the right person. Also the max nights Id be willing to hosts are three nights. (I have seriously been gettig request for more than 2 months in a one line message). This should be an exchange, but sadly it hasn't been this way lately.
