About Me

Just trying to find my place in the world. Meanwhile, I travel, eat, learn and try to make it worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One thing I learned traveling was the importance to actually know other people during your trips (especially the "locals"!). You can visit all the museums, go to every single tourist attraction, eat in the best restaurants, night clubs or bars, but nothing compares to actually exchange experiences and all sort of stories with them. There's no such thing as discovering those "little secrets" that only the ones who live there know, that curiosity that Google will never tell you or the tips (!!!) that only a local can share with you.
So isn't it just perfect not just to randomly meet this person, but be hosted by her/him?
Couchsurfing, te amo. <3

Music, Movies, and Books

"Ain't no Mountain High Enough" from Marvin Gay, always makes me happy, don't know why. Though I'm very musically eclectic, just love rap, hip hop, rock, indie... But I always come back to my old Brazilian bands and singers, such as Los Hermanos, Criolo, Legião Urbana, Banda do Mar, Móveis Coloniais de Acaju...
About movies, I wish I could get the French ones.
Love all the Noah Gordon books, but "The Catcher in the Rye", fromJ. D. Salinger is still my fav.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I jumped from a rock ~20 meters high in the sea. It hurt so bad. But it was worth it.
