I'm a happy, open minded, spontaneous, positive thinking and easy-going girl. I usually have too many plans for too little time and go to bed way too late…

Originally from a tiny town in Germany I would say I started the life I love after graduation. I realized that time is running way too fast and decided to travel the world and see those beautiful places while I'm young! I packed my life in one bag and moved to the US....came back to Germany 18 months later totally being stuck in that day dream to travel forever :D so I travelled a fair bit through Europe...moved to OZ for my masters...travelled through South-East Asia on the way back... made friends for life, fell in love with places, beautiful people and the fact how amazing it is to travel the world, meet people and experience new cultures.

Living the dream while studying, I now live and work in Berlin. Still obsessed with seeing the world I had to learn time to travel is limited now so I try to meet travellers and hear their stories to get my little “travel time” and I still try to get out and about as much as I can….

I like spontaneous adventures, traveling and meeting new people. My perfect week is a mixture of being active and time to relax - I love hanging out with my friends, dancing the nights away, relaxing in the park, playing board games, the ocean, sitting on a swing, seeing my plants grow on the balcony, BBQs in the park, dogs, watching movies from time to time, and basically everything that is outdoors and/or sounds like fun! I am super easy to convince when there is a slight chance of having a good time :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

...because I like to see places that aren't listed in the lonely planet and learn about the people and the culture. It's more about the people you meet then the place you visit anyways. I surfed all over the US, Australia and Europe and I've met the nicest people and seen the most beautiful places through CS! It's great to be new at a place and still feel like a local, hanging out with people like they are friends since forever.

Interests

I love being active especially being outside - hiking, snowboarding, snorkeling, cycling, surfing, going for a run and long long walks with my dog. I also enjoy rainy days since there is time to be lazy - sit on the couch and enjoy a movie or be creativ - I love DIY projects

I also enjoy going out, catching up with my friends, meeting people and obviously traveling. Besides that I'm trying to learn Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot but like alternative/indie/rock the most...we invented paris, noah kahan, msmr, haim, two door cinema club, jr jr, the killers, passion pit, bastille, maroon 5...

I enjoy watching movies and watch pretty much everything as long as it isn't too much action...Savages and water for elephants are probably my two favourite ones.

I don't really enjoy reading...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving my comfort zone was definitively the best I've done but hiking up a volcano in Indonesia and guiding baby turtles to the ocean was pretty amazing too :)
