ABOUT ME
Ever since coming back from Europe once year ago, I've been thinking about how to know better about my own country, and how to introduce Taiwan to more people. It is cool because indeed traveling makes me think of those questions relating to myself, my identity, my family, and my country.
I like to learn more about myself and learn about the others through meaningful communications.
Recently I'm exploring another part of me, which is through learning salsa! Salsa just helps me to realize that how lame I am to control my body or to show my sexiness, not to mention it is so shy to keep looking at my dance partner's eyes.... anyhow, Salsa still brings me a lot of fun~
I like learning things, having new experience and challenging myself, so I've tried surfing, rafting, rock climbing, snorkeling, river tracing...etc. While going out to the nature to challenge myself, I also enjoy just sitting down and watching movies or reading a novel at home.
Always want to learn German or Spanish~
PHILOSOPHY
Worry is like sitting on a rock.
It gives you something to do,
but it can not get you anywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First it was heard from a very good friend of mine that she had very wonderful experiences of couch surfing when traveling in Europe. Then I started to host people when I was an exchange student in Denmark, because there I had enough space to host and also eager to meet more people and know more about European culture.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After hosting several people and learning more about CS stuff, I decided to make my trips in Europe more special and memorable. So during the half year in Europe, all my trips were by CS! And no doubt, CS is the best traveling experience for me ever. It is cool that traveling do make me learn and grow in many un-expecting way, especially through couch surfing to meet people that I definitely have no chance to meet in daily life, I still feel that I gain much more rather than what I offer, either in surfing or hosting.
Interests
Movies, traveling, swimming, reading, and cooking.
I especially like European movies because they are usually more realistic and have open endings, which gives room for my imagination.
Also learned some European dishes and start learning baking bread and cakes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Introduced and cooked Taiwanese bubble tea to people from more than 50 countries!
Prepared 10 dishes for my neighbors when living in Copenhagen in order to celebrate the 100th Double Ten's Day of Taiwan.
Teach, Learn, Share
The thing I always like to learn and share is cooking! People's home cooking is always the best dish to learn. My couch surfers often share their best dishes with me, I also prepare Taiwanese food for my hosts, surfers or friends.
For salsa I'm still a beginner, but we still can hang out in some salsa bars~ I just need more practice!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a really nice and local Taiwanese flavor dish. I would also like to offer a special tour in the suburb of Taipei. The suburb is not far from downtown, and for sure it is much more fun, diverse and interesting! Ju-Min open air museum, Fu-long beach, cao-ling historic trail...etc., too many different experience to choose from.
