ABOUT ME

My name is Sabrina "Estrellita"...I was born and grow up in Germany, left when I was 19....I traveled for 5 years and ended up staying in Paradise (Cabarete, DR) since 2008.
Waking up every day in surrounded by tropical smells and noices, puddeling out to surf every morning after I took a loooong walk with my lovely doggys on the beach...I can confidentally say, I found my perfect place and dont plan to leave it anytime soon...at least not for less perfect :)!
I opened and used to manage the 1st Hostel in Cabarete a couple of years ago. I hosted many couchsurfers there. After that I managed a little Surf Camp for 6month, hosted people, went surfing with them and tried to offer them a great time during theire stay in DR.
Now I finally started my own project, its called "Coco Beads Cabarete" (check on FB), and I m super super proud of it!
I hand craft jewelry, alternative fancy beach jewelry, mostly for girls and dogs, but I also love to do custom work, so bring it on :)
I love it that I finally made the step to complete independence and I can life from and with what I love...art and surf.
My believe is to do what you love and live from your talents, even if I might never get rich in money that way, I am already very rich in life qualety, experience and fun, thats enough to satisfy my soul!
I'm very open and happy to help out anyone that is looking for advice and fun time in the area of Cabarete. I can give local information and answer all questions you might possibly have - there is almost nothing I dont know about this place :).
