About Me

ABOUT ME

Right now, I have just finished my master in Clinical Nutrition, and am enjoying a peaceful time with room for travelling and experiences.

I am down to earth and very passionated about the things I do. I like beeing active and try new stuff !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and shown some really nice people around in Cph - wanna do that again! (: By the moment I have a lot of travel and some career activities, so I have troubles to take new couch surfers, because I might not be home - but you can always try to write me (:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed at some really nice people at my interrail trip two years ago and at a road trip this summer! Great memories - I am so greateful!

Interests

My passions include voluntary work, training horses, training myself, playing (played the piano since I was 12, but am lacking discipline for that in my adult years so currently I am very rusty) and listening to music, my field of study - nutrition, drinking cold white wine in good company, and outdoor activities such as obstacle races and water/winther sports depending of the season.
I am not necessarily good at the activities - I mostly just feel a need of trying them out, that includes wake boarding, kite surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, wall climbing, bikram yoga (that's for sure the toughest thing I have ever tried!), snowboarding, different kinds of obstacle races and so on - and I still have a long wishing list of stuff I want to try out! Music, Movies, and Books

I can watch almost everything - but when I am at home and watching movies with my cat, we enjoy watching chick flicks and comedies. Yes, my cat actually looks at the screen ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever experienced was living at a host for a week in Italy as a part of an exchange program in 2010. The family was the most amazing and sweet persons, and I really enjoyed staying with them. From them I learned a lot about Italy and Italian culture - and the more I learned, the more I loved the country. I am still in contact with then now and then.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As many food -, nutrition - and evidence facts you want ! One might think I am an amazing cook after I have studied food and nutrition for five years... that is however not quite the case, but I am more than willing to use my average cooking skills to cook some dinner ! That being for guests or hosts (:

If you one day in the future come across Copenhagen, I will be more than happy to return the favor and let you stay at my place in Valby (8 min by train from the city center). Since I have been a student in Copenhagen for 5 years, I know a lot of free/cheap activities to do, also including training sessions, and every time I get lost (happens often), I usually find new cool places of Copenhagen!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Turks and Caicos Islands
