About Me

Hello CS world!
I'm originally from a very small town in FL, in which helped me to grow up to be humble and to appreciate everything that I have. And now that I have had more experience in life, I appreciate all that I am. I'm a down-to-earth being, very considerate, and I choose to live my life with empathy and compassion for every other living being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to travel, of course, and see the amazing sights that we have been provided. But also in doing so, I very much look forward to experiencing meaningful connections with some wonderful individuals.

Interests

Our environment/nature, nature conservation, cooking and eating (plant-based lifestyle for me), organic foods, skate boarding, laughing, canoeing/kayaking/rafting, local markets, local businesses, learning about gardening, history, music, art, adventure, holistic and modern medicine balances, spirituality, hiking, bicycling, learning about different cultures/religions, science.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste is everywhere. Some of my favorites: alt-J, Brand New, City and Colour, Pink Floyd, Interpol, The Smiths, Hozier, Cold War Kids Regina Spektor.
I love scary "spooky" movies, comedies, documentaries, and movies that actually leave you with something to think about.
Books genres that I mostly enjoy are non-fictions and memoirs, but I'm flexible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed up what little things I owned, and moved three hours (driving time) away from everything and everyone I knew; having only driven through the city I live in now once, and not knowing a single person in the area.
It was hands-down the most liberating, exciting and intimidating experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I firmly believe that everyone we meet teaches us at least a little something, whether it be about ourselves or a good old "life lesson" to keep us grounded. Each day holds it's own learning plan! You've just got to seek the knowledge.
Something that I could teach you that would be more practical (and only if you would be interested) is how to cook a delicious vegan meal. I love presenting to others new concepts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My positive vibes (I actually really hope that we can both share those with one another). Also, I am no "mooch"; I certainly clean up after myself! I enjoy helping others with tidying up, even if it's in the slightest way. I really believe that I exhibit proper house-guest etiquette. Never have forgotten the Golden Rule- and that does apply to someone's sacred space for me!
