About Me
DEARS, IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A COUCH REQUEST, PLEASE READ THE `MY HOME` SECTION FIRST. THANKS!
CURRENT MISSION
Making the life dream come true: to own a boat that I can call my home as well as my way of traveling.
ABOUT ME
Hello all :)
Please let me introduce myself a bit: I am an alternative thinker, interested in things like alternative ways to live, veganism and vegetarianism, self sustainability and local biological products, (theory about) education, spirituality, rainbow, socialism and communism (as theories, not as the political systems we´ve known so far) queer and gender studies, being in nature and outdoors, being in and on the water, being compassionate and responsible and I enjoy easy-going-ness.
I'm interested in art, any form of it. My main interest is dance. I dance myself, I choreograph, I teach and I watch. I love to go to the theater and cinema, to exhibitions, go outside, walk around and really see the environment, listen to my vinyls, and hang out with friends and family. Also, I am a swim teacher, which is one of the loveliest jobs I've had in my life - together with teaching dance. I love teaching because whilst I am teaching, I am always also learning.
Nature is one of my biggest loves and hiking and (wild) camping how I relate to her. Sleeping under the stars after a days hike is the biggest gift you can give me :) (of course leaving to trace and respect nature!)
I also started to learn how to play the drums. I like it very much.
My favorite place in every city is the public library. ALL sorts of people come there and all are equal. I feel part of the collective there. Often I go there just to drink a cup of coffee and read a paper. Also it´s so nice just to get lost between the books and then surprisingly find some treasures (like once I found a whole book shelf full of books with very old maps. I love old maps. So I sat on the floor for over an hour going through all these old treasures with amazement).
PHILOSOPHY
There is always a solution if you think positive. I don't see the point of looking for reasons why things would not work out, instead of looking for reasons why they could. I tend to think in possibilities.
Also I believe in what I call the universe. I joke about this a lot though, but: If the universe wants it to happen, it will happen, if not, it has other plans for you. Keeps the mind open.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First, to broaden my horizon by meeting not-yet-friends. Everyone has a story and every story makes my knowledge of the world wider. Second, to get to know special places I would not know about, haven't I met these people. Third, to provide all this for others. Forth, and most important, to be in contact with others, be part of something larger then myself and to share.
