I'm a french guy from the Bask Country (North West of France) but I'm currently living in Bogotá Colombia where I'm doing a PhD in Mathematics...(no, mathematics are not as boring as they seem)

Yo nací en el lado francés del país vasco (sur occidente de Francia) pero ahora vivo en Bogota donde estoy haciendo un doctorado en Matemáticas... (no son tan aburidas como lo podrías pensar!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just heard so many good things about Couch Surfing and really felt like the idea of this website was amazing so I created this account. Also now that I'm living in Colombia it seems to be a really nice way to meet local people when I'm travelling in the country. Finallly we have an extra bedroom (a really small one) in our shared apartment so why not put it to use when it's not occupied!

Escuché muy buenas cosas de Couchsurfing y me gusta mucho la idea misma de esa página! Además ahora aue vivo en Colombia me parece chevere para encontrar gente cuando viajo en el país! Y como tenemos una habitación (muy chiquita) en nuestro apartamento es buena cosa ponerla a disposición!

I like a lot of styles of music : Afro Beat, Salsa, Cumbia, Reggae, Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Rock(60's to 80's), Rock'n'Roll, Twist, Jazz, Hip Hop, some french singers ;)

I also like a lot of different movies from the stupidiest super-hero movies to some more mind-rising movies or documentaries.

I don't see myself as reader but from the few books that I read my favorite's authors would be : Stephan Zweig, Eugène Ionesco, Tonino Benacquista, Haruki Murakami, Fiodor Dostoievski.
