About Me
*I’m not using this app to look for a date.
Hi there! I'm a Japanese software developer, who studied in Japan, Canada, and France.
Currently, I'm working for a tech company in Tokyo.
I have passion for figure skating and learning language. Hopefully I can meet some nice travelers with positive vibe! Let’s talk
I stopped couchsurfing when COVID started and my job became hectic, but now I'm back here, eager to resume this unique way of traveling and connecting with locals again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to get out of my comfort zone.
Tokyo is indeed convenient for everything, but life here often becomes fixed around work and hanging out with the same friends, making it feel like my social circle is set in stone.
That's why I've been thinking of using Couchsurfing to meet people I wouldn't usually encounter in my daily life.
Maybe because of the reactivation, my previous references (2016/2017) seemed gone.
I hope my Instagram profiles will give you some sense of who I am...

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I love French rap and synthesizer music!
Although the lyrics with full of slang and seem like a whole other language than conversational French, I just love the sound of it.
Movies:
I like non-fictional movies and documentaries in general
Books
- 1984
Game:
- Geoguessr
- Papers, please
- Sims2, Sims3
- Pharao (windows game from the 1990s)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love language exchanges! My minor major was French, and learning natural languages is always my core interest.
Also I'm fan of Geoguessr. (A game to guess a specific location of a random google street view scene)
