Well Sometime i really want to go back........ Go back to the time,
when getting high meant on a swing,
when drinking meant apple juice
when mom was home and dad's shoulders was the highest place on the earth
when your worst enemies were your siblings
when the drug you only knew off cough medicine
the only thing that could hurt you was your skinned knees
the only thing broken were your toys
when good bye only meant till tomorrow
when friends never used to hurt
when you could love everyone and any one

میں خود زمیں ہوں مگر ظرف آسمان کا ہے
کہ ٹوٹ کر بھی میرا حوصلہ چٹان کا ہے

بُرا نہ مان--مِرے حرف زہر زہر سہی
میں کیا کروں کہ یہی ذائقہ زبان کا ہے

ہر ایک گھر پہ مسلط ہے دِل کی ویرانی
تمام شہر پہ سایہ میرے مکان کا ہے

بچھڑتے وقت سے اب تک میں یوں نہیں رویا
وہ کہہ گیا تھا--یہی وقت امتحان کا ہے

مسافروں کی خبر ہے نہ دُکھ ہے کشتی کا
ہَوا کو جتنا بھی غم ہے وہ بادبان کا ہے

یہ اور بات عدالت ہے بےخبر--ورنہ
تمام شہر میں چرچہ میرے بیان کا ہے

اثر دِکھا نہ سکا اُس کے دل میں اشک میرا
یہ تیر بھی کسی ٹوٹی ہوئی کمان کا ہے

بچھڑ بھی جائے مگر مجھ سے بدگمان بھی رہے
یہ حوصلہ ہی کہاں میرے بدگمان کا ہے

قفس تو خیر مقدر میں تھا مگر *محسن*
ہَوا میں شور ابھی تک میری اُڑان کا ہے۔۔
