I'm a teacher and a poet collecting the most satisfying and least marketable skills in my journeys. I love meeting new people, learning what they love, and learning to love these things in return.

New spaces especially interest me: weird diners, thrift stores, frozen lakes, swimming holes, etc.

In my day-to-day life, I enjoy mornings. I like some structure (read: tidy), but as my friend Caro says, I am "up for about anything."

I like making things for myself and others (i.e. food, poems, etc).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I are looking forward to making connections within the CS community as surfers. It seems like such a generous community to be a part of. We have hosted many a friend and traveling artists on floors and couches, but we are just becoming familiar with Couchsurfing.

Interests

Preserving, making, and partaking in community, the arts, language, food. Thinking hard about/dissecting structures of power. Trying to understand how to live ethically and with care.

Also: music, wandering (wilderness or metropolitan), thrifting/flea marketing, some good funk/soul music to dance to.
