Hey I'm Sadie,

I haven't done any couchsurfing so far but I'm planning to change that soon.

Why couchsurfing? Because I wanna meet new people I can share great experiences and make fond memories with.
I'm a bit shy with strangers & acquaintances and need a little bit time first to feel comfortable enough to be my true self. That's why I think it's best for me to try out couchsurfing, so I can overcome my fears and become the person I wish I were.

I wanna be able to hold conversations without having to fear what to talk about or of running out of topics and appearing boring. I want to meet as many great people as possible, so I can take a piece of advice from each of them about life and how to enjoy it. I wanna learn to love myself and, maybe by traveling, find a purpose in life.

So I might be expecting a lot and I'm sorry for that. But those expectations aren't from you, no... they are from me and I think it would be way easier to achieve those goals by meeting and living with different people from different countries and cultures.
And I would be so grateful if you could and want to be part of this - my - journey.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just don't want to have a place to sleep over in a foreign place, no. I wanna learn from the culture and I wanna (re-)explore the city with natives. I wanna share stories and food cuisines. I wanna gain new friends and have adventures of any kinds (excluding bad ones, of course). I wanna have fun and try out new things, I wouldn't have tried out had I not traveled and met you in the first place.

I wanna be able to look back and think to myself - what a great life I had. Reminiscing the good old times and being excited for the future.

I know I want a lot, and have unfortunate high expectations but who knows...maybe I'll be able to archieve those with your help and hospitality.

I listen to every kind of music. Really depends on my mood and surrounding.

The latest movie I watched and loved was Inside Out. The latest show Stranger Things...oh I lied, I remember now...the real latest movie was Good Will Hunting, liked it.

I have my phases when I absorb books after books and then phases when I just don't have the time or mood to read.
I liked The Alchemist for example (except the ending).
On my nightstand is the book The Five People You Meet In Heaven. I'm planning to read it after my exams, I saved it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was a child, I saved a wasp from drowning in our inflatable pool. It thanked me by turning around and looking at me, maybe even nodding in gratitude, and then flying off. Does that count?
