About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To cross off as many of Patricia Schultz's '1000 Things to See Before You Die'
ABOUT ME
Jay and I are a couple who have been together since October 2006. I travelled around the world just before meeting Jay and we also spent six and a half months travelling Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand together in 2013.
I've been to 33 countries so far and Jay very similar. We also worked and travelled around America for 3 months together in 2009.
The two of us have a huge passion for travelling and try and cross off as many of Patricia Schultz's '1000 Things to See Before You Die' as we go along. We are good fun, sociable, friendly, caring and always up for a laugh. And we are by no means one of those 'in-your-face-all-over-each-other' couples! We're just out to have fun!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Music, Movies, and Books
There aren't many movies and types of music that we don't like. We love a broad spectrum! In terms of books, Jay is very interested in sport and mixed martial arts related reading, whereas I enjoy reading travel related literature and anything with a good twist!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We have had a number of fantastic experiences on our travels, including diving the Great Barrier Reef, seeing the Grand Canyon, sunset sea kayaking in Fiji and riding camels around the Pyramids of Giza. We have been to some amazing sporting events including watching Barcelona play at the Nou Camp, attending the largest UFC to date in Toronto and Jay watched the London Marathon whilst I ran it! The two of us also worked at one of the most prestigious summer camps in America for a summer, which is something we'll be able to tell the Grandkids about! We have had so many great experiences, too many to mention!
UPDATE: We have since added a number of incredible experiences to the list since spending four and a half months in Southeast Asia, a month in Australia and a month in New Zealand. A few stand out moments include watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Mount Bromo in Indonesia; spending three days at the incredible Elephant Hills in the Thailand jungle and doing a helicopter snow landing on Franz Josef glacier in New Zealand to name but a few!
Teach, Learn, Share
Jay is a writer for the Daily Mirror newspaper in the UK, he specialises in MMA (mixed martial arts), so we regularly follow UFC around it's various locations worldwide. I have a lot of travel experience and have taken part in a number of difficult challenges, including the London Marathon and the National Three Peaks Challenge.
