ABOUT ME

I'm working on a writing project right now and traveling around Washington state and Southeast Alaska .

I've been living in Alaska for the past six years, mostly in a cabin without running water. I like to meet new people, especially new people who have interesting stories to tell. I've worked a lot of jobs in my life and currently have a great job with the state researching the role of wild foods in people's lives. In my spare time I chip away at the writing project I'm currently working on! I'm a pretty happy, mellow person.

Staying in hotels is nice sometimes, but it's much harder to meet interesting people that way. Some of my favorite adventures have been with new people!
