I have always wanted to travel the world. I work really hard and also teach some students alongside my studies so that I can save money for travelling. I love to mix up with strangers and I also want to hear their stories. To me, life is like a drama and every person on this earth has a story to tell. I want to hear as much stories as possible in my whole life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because couchsurfing is giving me an opportunity to get the best out of my trip. I can literally meet new people, live with them like a local, eat their cuisine and also can learn new cultures and heritages. Sometimes this platform, couchsurfing, seems unreal to me. Really blessed to be in such a era where couchsurfing exists.

Interests

Travelling makes me feel alive. I want to climb the highest peak in the world, I want to dive into the deepest portion of the sea. I want to fall freely from 10,000 feet, I want to jump off an cliff into a waterfall. Many places to visit in this one life. Challenge accepted!

I love photography because it helps me to retain the stories that I hear from different people. I literally save money from my meals to buy my favourite camera.

I love to write stories a lot. I feel good to connect different people's tales and to write something new from that. It's really fun!

I have a bonsai. It is a Ficus Microcarpa. I call her 'Pingu'. She's only 2 years old.

Teaching is my passion, to be honest. Till now I have taught more that 300 students. I teach in a coaching center that helps students to get admitted in their desired undergrad university. I also teach academic studies to primary, secondary and higher secondary level students. It really feels awesome to help students attain their desired goal.

I am somewhat a good actor though I don't want to be in that sector professionally.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I love Indian classical songs a lot. I also like folk songs. I am trying to learn traditional flute. And yes, I am a toilet singer :3

Books - I have read a lot of books of Bangla literature. From my childhood I have the habit of reading story books. Never like the academic studies that much. As there is scope of imagination, I always have loved to read new books.

Movies - My favourite movie is 'The Shawshank Redemption' of Hollywood. 'Tamasha' and 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' from Bollywood are also my favourite. My favourite tv series is Bojack Horseman. These movies and tv series have a great impact in my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am an undergrad student but I have worked for 10 hours a day alongside my studies for three months at a stretch without any weekend. All these just to save up for an one month long India trip!

I sometimes don't even believe myself that I have worked this much hard to quench the thirst of my soul.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of photography. Travelling around my city with a camera in hand is really a favourite pastime of mine.

I know a lot about my city and country. The heritage of Bangladesh is of more than thousand years. I can make people enlightened about all these. People can learn many things of my culture from me. Though I can't cook, I know some really good places where anyone can get the best local cuisine.

I want to learn new things about new cities and countries. I love hear stories a lot. I must have to say that I am a very good listener.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer the hosts a bunch of stories I have gathered throughout my life. I also can offer my culture and heritage to them. I am a frindly as well as amiable person. I am also very down to earth. I can show them how a play from Rabindranath Tagore or William Shakespeare can be acted. I can show them how a Bangla folk song is sung.
