Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a variety of music genres, with a particular love for jazz and electronic music. The improvisational nature of jazz captivates me, while electronic music provides a great backdrop for relaxation and creativity. Some of my favorite artists include Miles Davis and Nils Frahm.
One of my all-time favorites is "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger, which resonates with its exploration of identity and adolescence. I also appreciate works by authors like Harper Lee ("To Kill a Mockingbird") and F. Scott Fitzgerald ("The Great Gatsby"). Additionally, I enjoy German literature from writers such as Hermann Hesse ("Steppenwolf") and Franz Kafka ("The Metamorphosis"), as they offer profound insights into human nature.
I am a fan of films by Lars von Trier, as I admire his unique storytelling style and the emotional depth of his characters. I also enjoy movies by directors like Wes Anderson, known for his whimsical narratives, and Andrei Tarkovsky, whose films provoke thought and evoke strong feelings. Additionally, I appreciate the works of German directors such as Wim Wenders "Paris, Texas" and Rainer Werner Fassbinder , who explore complex themes in their films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is participating in an environmental protection program in my hometown Sulduz (Naghadeh), where I volunteered to help raise awareness about sustainable practices in the community. It was incredibly fulfilling to work alongside local residents and fellow volunteers to promote eco-friendly initiatives and contribute to the preservation of our environment. This experience not only deepened my understanding of environmental issues but also allowed me to connect with diverse people and cultures, which I truly cherish.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m also eager to improve my German and would appreciate any conversation practice. In return, I can help with English, Persian and Turkish. I love learning about different cultures and would enjoy hearing your stories!
