Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see clearly. This may take some time.
ABOUT ME
I take a while to warm to people. 24% of my jokes are funny. I like short-sleeved cotton shirts.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is probably to hide. I live my life because life is preferable to non-existence. Feelings I experience are anger, frustration, amusement,er...probably all the ones you'll find in the dictionary so no need to list them here. I suspect I am a spirit in the material world in a school or prison or on a stage which I will return to until I pass the exam, am eligible for parole, act the part.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host. I also wrote to CS asking why they have made detrimental changes to the website and got no answer. There was a time when the overview actually made sense...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None. I've so far been a little shy about submitting applications.
Interests
Why and what, ghosts, Shakespeare- especially his collaborations with Fletcher and his possible play Edmond Ironside, geo-politics, prison reform, listening to and making music, writing, art, making movies, architecture, Britain's physical heritage, European Union, the China soap opera, sex, burlesque, merengue, animals, gadgets, popular science, conspiracy theories and the list goes on. But I should probably just be focusing on interpersonal relations.

Music, Movies, and Books
For music, www.radio1.cz (alternate music radio station)
1408, The Go Between and Mulholland Drive (I'll be replacing these choices with some trendy selections from world cinema as soon as I've watched some).
Some authors I've read more than once: Jens Grondahl, Sophie Kinsella, William Boyd, Rupert Thomson, Percival Everett, Anne Bronte.
I go to the Globe on Bankside every year because it has an excellent cost/entertainment ratio.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Somewhere along the way I must have done something selfless, musn't I? I suspect I've seen amazing things my whole life but not noticed. I once saw something slightly interesting when I went to Krakow back in 2005. Around the old town area people were walking with leash and collar but no dog on the end. A Dadist fad the like of which I'd missed out on after living a year in Prague and Brno.
Teach, Learn, Share
Floss.
Don't throw the idealist out with the bathwater.
If you want to chat someone up, start by asking if they threw a shoe at your window and take things from there.
As a rule you can break sometimes don't tell people the most interesting thing that's happened to you that day.
