ABOUT ME

I enjoy the little things in life, I love to dance, mostly Flamenco, I love food, cooking it and eating it. I am fan of movies, music, ultimate frisbee and taking long walks... Love animals, specially fat and fluffy ones, love nature in all her ways and I am very fond to experience new cultures, places and friends. I study environmental sciences because I would like to spend most of my time trying to undestand the complex world I live in...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate in CS by offering my home and my knwoledge, sharing a bit about my culture and the place I live in. As I am new in this experience, I'm still exploring other ways to participate in this project.

I've alreay made some good friends thanks to CS I am really enjoying this network :)

Intereses

I am interested in cooking, dancing, knitting, travelling, desing, cinemma, environmental themes, politics, human behaviour, education, photograph... I spend my time doing my thesis and playing frisbee twice a week, I used to dance in a flamenco dance company and I love to search for new chances to learn stuff.

MUSIC: ALL classic rock, Jazz, Flamenco, Funk, Blues, Jack Johnson style, Caetano Veloso style, Jorge Drexler style....
Movies I particularly enjoy: The little princess, Wasteland, The boat that rocked, Let the right one in, Where the wild things are (book, movie and soundtrack), I'm not there, The great dictator, Spirited away, El laberinto del fauno, Kill Bill, The Fountain, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Little Miss Sunshine, Waltz with Bashir, El secreto de sus ojos... to name a few.
I quite enjoy novels, adventure stories, children's stories, epic stories, real life stories, and nature stories...almost any book that catches my full atention.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Once I was in Sevilla on a park drinking chufa and eating some delicious dish with a friend and in a table nearby was this man with his 2 year old daughter, he started singing as the baby daughter started dancing flamenco really well, I was amazed, short after a guy with his guitar approached to play his guitar to accompany them and out of nowhere they were 5 strangers assembling something beautiful: clapping to keep rythm, playing guitar and singing to this little bailaora, I enjoyed that moment so very much.

Camping near Mazunte in Oxaca beach, with a giant moon and the shooting stars and the sound of nothing but the sea, is something I will always remember....

Camping in the airport of Madrid for 7 days because my flight was stuck is something I will always remember too, it was an intense week full of funny and learning full experience.
