ABOUT ME
Hey Guys! My name is Sage, whether I was named after the spice or the wise man I'll never know (my mom was a chef and my dad is a psychiatrist). I'm very easy going and am always up to try new things and meet new people. I've worked as a contractor and a researcher, as well as starting my own business and working in the social development sphere. My good friend once described me as a chameleon and I think he meant it as a compliment. I'm applying to grad school and want to go on an adventure before I start.
Interests
I am an avid triathlete and enjoy nothing more than getting out on the bike or going for a run. I play guitar and invite impromptu jam sessions -- I have an extra guitar, banjo, and djembe at the house. In school, I studied neuroscience and creative writing (go figure :-)).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18, I drained my savings and traveled to Nepal having never traveled outside of North America before. I traveled around the country collecting folklore and hearing people's stories. I met a medicine man who taught me about the evolution of language, an ex-military traveler in the throws of a philosophical quest, and a monk on a hill who taught me humility. It was, at once, the scariest, loneliest, happiest, and most at peace I've ever felt.
