I do Start-ups, which basically means I do what I love. It's something that allows me to travel, where I meet new people and see new ideas. It's also something that makes sure that life isn't really ever settled, so if it's coming up with the next idea or improving the last one, everything is always moving.

I think that could describe me, and where I am at now pretty well. I'm an animal friendly person, something of an extroverted introvert (I like my space, but I have energy to be more outgoing). I tend to be this kind of glass chamber guarded type, where as anyone can look at me and see me for who I am, but there are still doors that need to be opened.

I do UI/UX Design work, and if not for my own stuff I get outsourced work by others. And in general I'm pretty confident about who I am, so I don't get pushed off by others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be able to host people, because usually eating breakfast in the morning or dinner by yourself sucks. And I like the idea of using it to visit new places and get a better feel of the area without having to do an extensive google search. Being spontaneous and stuff.

Interests

So design is pretty easy. I like to make pretty pictures, or UI frames for apps and games. It goes off on the side with painting, but it loops back to going outside and doing hikes to get inspiration (or being generally fit). I play Pokemon Go, which has done more for me in terms of meeting people in recent years. And I work in the start-up stratosphere with applying gamification to the smallest of things. Which also is something I tend to mentor other cool peeps about.

Music, Movies, and Books

So I got my musical tastes a bit by my parents, with my Dad's classic rock collection and my Mom's Heavy Metal. I listen to electronic, so things turn out to be a fusion of the three. With indie rock to dnb to industrial to heavy metal to house or classical music.

As for movies, it would have to be Interstellar.

And for books, there are too many to count. But most notably, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made this spreadsheet that calculated everything you ever needed to start a business. From the numbers, the sales you need to make, the employee payroll and accounting for inflation and bonuses, tested it to make sure it's accurate with mobile app behaviors, and then I made a tutorial on how people can make their own.
