About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning German, learning the bass, sometimes simultaneously.
ABOUT ME
I am a Graphic designer and self-taught drummer originally from Jerusalem, Israel, now living in Leipzig, Germany. I've also lived in London and Tel Aviv. My friends say I'm an easy going funny guy (I can only agree).
:-)
I'm studying German, and making music. Apart from that, I like to spend time with friends, go out dancing, have a nice talk or check out the Leipzig alternative scene, which is now bustling, and growing at an amazing rate.
This is in deed a very special time to be living here.
Oh, and I have a weakness for sneakers. Used to be bright colored ones, now it's mostly black and cheap ones.
:-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have friends and housemates who have had couch surfers stay over, and through them I've made some new friends. I've also taken part in some meetings arranged through the site, mostly for German speaking groups, and also made friends from all over the world.
I would like to continue getting to know new people, and feel lucky that there are always new ways to do so, thanks to technology.
Interests
Music, music & more music; Apart from listening to music and playing the drums & percussion, I'm also a decent singer, and I am now teaching myself to play the bass.
I like Good British / American stand up comedy; I used to watch a lot of TV and movies, mostly comedies, but have switched that for German studies, so I can discuss American and British television, but not so much current shows :-)
My recent thing is re-watching Seinfeld with German dubbing... Not as funny as the original, but definitely good use of my grey brain cells, and of my knowledge of Seinfeld.

:-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the drums, body-drumming, beat-boxing, and basically, all rhythm related stuff.
I find from experience, that a jam session, even in the kitchen using household appliances, or nothing but a couple of glass bottles, can lift the spirit to new heights.
But only if you're up for it...
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good joke (hopefully funny), and my life experience (not as funny...)
