About Me
Indian | 20 | Techie | Wanderlust | Batman fan | Quorian
On a current mission to discover Europe.
I am a student from India doing my under-graduate studies at National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. This summer (2016) , I am spending my time as an Exchange student at ECAM, Lyon.
Being from one the famous tourist cities, Mysore, I love travelling and visiting new places to know their culture and the heritage. I have toured around India, especially the south of India and along the coastal regions and Western Ghats of Goa, Karnataka and Kerala. Most of my travels have been hiking and backpacking to the hills, cliffs and to beautiful beaches.
An amateur cook ( sometimes it gets way too spicy. Being Indian :P) myself, I am a foodie and I love to explore the local cuisines of various places I visit.
I am also a great lover of sports, especially tennis, football and adventure sports.
A note to HOSTS: I'm very respectful of your home and your belongings. If I make a mess I know how to clean up. If you need help to fix something in your home, my knowledge and manual skills are at your service.
I usually bring as much as I can with me, depending on which transportation I'm using, in order to reduce your effort: towels, sleeping bag
I'm always grateful, regardless how much you can offer to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is great way to connect and interact with new people. I do know that it sounds too cliche but it indeed is important to develop a good and friendly relationship with your fellow travelers and hosts. Its great way to exchange knowledge about our cultures, heritage, food and lifestyle. This would help me respect and appreciate different cultures and feel more connected to people from different parts of the world.
Interests
I love sports. I enjoy playing tennis, golf and watching football . Adventure sports like rafting, kayaking, scuba diving also thrills me. I want to try as many activities as possible at various destinations.
I also enjoy reading novels, Quora, gaming, movies and TV shows.
And yeah, I love chilling on the beach with barbecue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I trekked and camped continuously for two days in a thunderstorm. This was an impromptu trip that I had with two of my friends. We had no cellular netwroks nor an guides. We did make it to the top of the hill after getting lost for couple of times. But the view at the top made the whole trek worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some magic tricks with playing cards, iPhone photography, Indian culture, Indian cuisines (amateur :P)
I can learn a lot about people's lifestyle, language, most happening things in around the place, travel hacks. Actually I am up for anything :D
No website can tell or describe the place to you better than a local person living in that area :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to accompany the host if he/she is interested in visiting some destination. I can share a lot interesting conversations and experiences that I had during my travel days and as a student living in hostel. I would love discuss things on movies, artificial intelligence, world history, technology, healthy lifestyle and numerous other topics.
