I am a masters student at TU-Bergakademie university in Freiberg, Germany. One of my hobbies is to get to know people and talk about their cultures and find similar social and cultural patterns in different cultures. Since I am studying in an international program, I have been meeting many people from different countries which encouraged me, even more, to travel around the world and meet new people. I am a movie fan and I enjoy playing video games which I consider as my "nerd" side, however, I also enjoy deep talks on various topics about the universe, from social issues to the future world. My most favorite hobby is listening to music and I enjoy meeting people with different music tastes so that we can exchange music tastes with each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Back in Iran, I have hosted some people a couple of times but in a traditional way and not by using any application. Since a friend introduced Couchsurfing to me, I found it interesting to satisfy my urge of knowing cultures in a more organized and easier way. I hope I can meet nice people from all over the world in Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any good music from any genre, however, I enjoy rock and orchestral music the most. I am a movie fan, mostly Hollywoodian ones, and I can talk days about interesting movies and tv series which I have already watched. I love sci-fi books such as Warcraft and harry potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've written a diary for 5 straight years and this made me realize that life is not as consistent as I thought! I think this is one of the most amazing things I've ever done because Writing a diary taught me 2 lessons:

1. Life is unexpected
2. We constantly change, even when we might think that every day is the same

What I Can Share with Hosts

One of the things that I like to share with other people is talking about my own culture which is misunderstood for almost every foreigner that I've met. I am also a good listener because I love to hear about other cultures as much as I want them to know about mine. I enjoy talking about movies too, especially with movie fans which I guess we have a lot to talk about.
