About Me

Hello!
My name is Sahar. I live in Sydney, Australia but I am on a mission to travel the globe!
I love selfless acts of kindness and have hosted many travellers, friends etc long before I knew this app even existed.
I used couchsurfing during European travels in 2016 and Ioved it so much!
I love to meet new people and discover new things about their environment, their diverse background and their lives, which often lead me to startling realizations about my own life too.
I am interested in topics such as music, philosophy, social justice and humanitarian issues, human psychology, linguistics, relationships etc... but generally speaking, I am a bit ridiculous and love to laugh.
I have had many roles in my life, such as a lawyer, a children's entertainer, singer/performer, a corporate salespersonble so I find it easy to relate to people from all walks of life.

I am very easy-going, very flexible and like to surround myself with positive & creative people that have a good outlook on life and those who uphold and value Oneness.
I am a creative person myself and I write songs, reflections, poetry and put things together to make new things. My passion is music but I appreciate all things artistic :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I love people!
Although I like to travel alone, I never feel alone when I travel.
This is a great platform to build lifelong friendships and experience a place through the local lifestyle and get inside tips on the little-known gems that most tourist wouldn't necessarily know about in any given destination.
And although my living situation does not allow me to accept guests, I hope to be able to be a host again soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have raised a lot of money over the years for various charities but most notably I organised and performed at my own charity music launch event which raised a significant amount of vlean drinkable water for UNICEF projects.

Teach - I like to inspire people to try and incorporate a selfless element to their lives and existence for I believe, this is where Life truly begins - from giving.
