I love people, and I love places. Money and luxury have never attracted me, but seeing the world with my own eyes and with the eyes of other people is the dream. I have a keen interest in music and art in its various forms, and I am the kind of person who will sometimes help appreciate the little things we just don't pay any attention to, in an artist's or any person's life. All of this arises from an awe as well as confusion towards life. Hoping to be more awestruck and less confused as age progresses!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I live in a small city where hardly any tourists arrive, but if anyone from the community does cross my humble city, we would love to host them in my parents' home, share experiences, and treat them to delicious food. Travelling for me has been a calling for long, hence wherever I set out on an adventure next, I wish to stay at a local's home and see and feel what they feel about their cities.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is, for me, the biggest name in music. Yet I have a taste that generally rounds up all kinds of music.
Books about travels, about human emotion and books with great stories and poetry are my favourite kind of books. Currently interested in Philosophy as well.
I try and explore films beyond their entertainment quotient, though that is an important aspect as well. Ship of Theseus, Dhobi Ghat, Masaan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Ardh Satya, Aankhon Dekhi are my favourite films.

I am very very confused about life in general and I can offer you a piece of my confusion cake. You might end up thinking about something you've never thought about, or I might end up gaining insights from your understanding of life. Of course, since all of this sounds so complex, I can simply offer you my stories and philosophies in general, and try and learn from yours. I can offer you all my ears, I love to hear out peoples' stories, successes, failures, poems, even confusions. I will see the paintings that you've made, hear the poems that you like, watch the movies that you love, and appreciate them with you.
