About Me

I'm always up to run a marathon and willing go trekking with you on a very short notice. I'm an adventure seeker and a free spirit at heart who likes to escape the clutches of the daily rat race from time to time.

Me and the wifey plan to quit our jobs soon and do a land only journey from India to Europe.

I'm currently back in Delhi NCR to work with an e-commerce start-up .... but this is before we move again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet local people from the cities I plan to visit, share experiences with them and learn to become a wiser man.

... and money, save some damn money on hotels.

Interests

I like traveling, trekking, running, reading and eating... not necessarily in that order.

I also have a Planted Aquarium at home where I like to waste too much of my time according to my wife.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A lot of stuff under the classic rock genre. I've also been listening to a lot of EDM and Indie artists since the last 2-3 years.

Movies: All the movies by Tarentino, Foreign movies like Amelie, God's Children etc. Documentaries like Planet Earth, Life, Virunga ( preferably in David Attenborough's voice).

Books: Recently finished reading all the titles by Murakami. Also doing a lot of travel based reading lately... currently reading - Nagaland - A journey to India's Forgotten Frontier.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got trapped in the 2015 Nepal Earthquake while trekking the Annapurna Circuit... stayed in a remote village for a few days... got back to Pokhra and worked with an NGO to help the Earthquake victims. Finally got back home to New Delhi from Pokhra by land.
