我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I will always have this sense in me of wanting to move as much as I can. Coz I believe we human beings are made to move. Our physical structure is made to do things, to move our bodies and go to one place to another. That's why when one travels, he will always see things differently day by day, and satisfy his soul.

I would like to meet travelers and share experiences on how to really live life out of their comfort zones. I wanna hear stories especially from people who have left everything and embark on a real life journey, as my plan for this year is to just pack my bags, quit my job, and leave everything I have here in Philippines for somewhere else. I wanna go beyond my own limits and see more of the world. To meet different people and understand how they live. And to feel.

Music: I am a big fan of Linkinpark. I love ALL their music. I also listen to music of 90's bands like The Moffatts, Hansons, Blue, Backsteet Boys, Spice Girls, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more! Modern artists are for Kesha, The Chainsmokers, Kid Cudi, Lauv, Ellegarden, etc. For particular songs I like Space Oddity by David Bowie, Wonderwall and Dont Look Back in Anger by Oasis, Underneath It All by No Doubt, One More Time by Daft Punk, Drive by Incubus, and The Man Who Sold the World by Nirvana.
And one weird thing about me is that I find it relaxing to listen to Gregorian Chants!

Books: Few books that had shaped me and are still shaping my wisdom and personality are The Little Prince, Eleven Minutes, The Alchemist, The Zahir (basically most of Paolo Coelho's creations), A Thousand Splendid Suns, Life of Pi, Sophie's World, Harry Potter, Kafka on the Shore, After Dark, and The Intelligent Investor! puhaha :P

I know a big deal of Japanese culture and language as they interest me the most. I can share all things I know about them and even about my other backpacking travels. Or we can go out of town, see oceans and get sunkissed skin, climb the mountain and do jumpshot on the top (haha) , or party in a bar until the sun comes up, or just with a beer chillin' whether in a cool pub, or just on the streets. Anything that would make us really LIVE. And of course, share with you a disease called "KINDNESS."
