About Me
I believe that variety is the spice of life and love to try new things. I love to immerse myself in food, world culture, travel, dance, art and anything else that keeps my mind active. I'm a professional Indian classical dancer (read Indian ballet) and ever ready to talk about food and art .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I plan to travel the world more starting this year.
In this interest, I would like to to meet locals during my travel to host me and vice versa when they visit India or the USA.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mt Washington, highest point in Northeast US having the highest wind speed record in the world. Being at the mercy of these harsh winds at that height taught me to respect nature like never before. The experience was most humbling.
Taught formal Indian cooking lessons for Americans (not my main profession). Gratifying when others appreciate my culture and food the way I do.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach cooking, especially Indian. Share my funny moments in life, culture and country(USA and India). Learn about your culture and language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My culture, excitement for life, enthusiasm, attitude, books, nature, hikes in USA, places to visit in USA and India that I have extensively traveled.
